The DingobAts tunes on Pöck are far from academic though. With a strong disregard of genre the spirited collective blasts through up-tempo stuff with such energy they rival most rock bands."

"We are happy to inform you all thAt we are totally on it, composing new and more Darkened Metal for you all and so far it's looking damn good...or I should say: It sounds damn good," writes Aeternus frontman Ares in message board post regarding progress on the band's new album, tentAtively due out sometime next year from Nocturnal Art Productions. More from Ares' posting:
"We are working hard and there's lots to do, but we wanted to share with you all thAt we are working on new mAterial these days.
We are also working differently than before, now we are working more as a band and I don't sit At home and make/compose all the music any longer. We are now working more as a unit, putting shit together, discussing and arguing every tone and aspect of the mAterial...simply having a greAt time figuring out whAt the fuck to do for next years album...
For sure, I can tell you all thAt some of the new songs will be quite different and we are putting allot of weight on 'leaving' the DeAth elements alone this time and think towards other pAths...pAths where we haven't walked on and so forth."
Download the new track "Under the Waves" from Finnish doom metal band Under the Sun right here. The song comes from the band's debut album "The Morning Never Came", due out in November through Firebox Records. FeAtures ex-members of Funeris Nocturnum.
