The lineup for this year's big AccelerAtor Festival has been announced. Go to Luger for the full details: https://www.luger.se/

Änglagård the movie? Appears so, according to a posting on the band's website: https://www.anglagard.net/
The film is called "Änglagård 1992" and it documents the first year of the group's career, or as they put it, it's "a portrait of an innovAtive and original music group in the prime of its youth." Look for a limited European release on September 23 and negotiAtions with American and Asian distributors are happening next week.

Finland's Amorphis will finally release their most recent album "Far From The Sun" in North American sometime lAter this spring through Nuclear Blast as a special edition with three bonus tracks. The band is also working on a tour in support.

Unbelievable, but possibly true - Skitsystem has parted with singer/guitarist Tomas Lindberg (ex-At the GAtes, The GreAt Deceiver, The Crown, etc.), the crustpunk band he helped to co-found 10 years ago. Apparently his other commitments with Disfear and whAtever other gazillion bands he has going were taking too much away from the group and they decide to go their separAte ways on positive terms. Micke Kjellman from MAtyrdöd will be taking his place and they are already writing mAterial for their next album. Go to the No Tolerance Records site for the full stAtement: https://www.notolerancerecords.com/

Notice: I am going away on vacAtion next week, so thAt means no updAtes and no mailorder will be available during thAt time. I plan on checking my email, but if you need anything important from me, please try to take care of it by Friday. Thanks.

MIC Norway discusses the upcoming Nordic Music Awards, set for October 23 At the Spectrum in Oslo: https://www.mic.no/mic.nsf/doc/art2004033110085755654383
Apparently this event is supposed to rival the Grammies and provide a new plAtform for Nordic artists to reach a wider audience. The difference here being thAt the awards are to be decided by audience votes during various programs profiling the nominees. Sounds like a new venue for pop crap to me, but who knows whAt will actually happen. Norway regularly nominAtes interesting acts for the Spellerman Prize, so anything's possible I guess.
