Musique Machine has posted a review of the Kaizers Orchestra album "Ompa Til Du Dør" today.

Check out this press release on the new album "Jordnära" from Swedish hip-hop artists Fattaru (in Swedish). This record marks the long-awaited follow-up to 2001's "Mina Hundar" and features guest appearances from Fjärde Världen, Masayah, psyche-rockers Dungen, and Robert Athel. Look for it on September 10 from Virgin Records. The first single will be for the track with the single "Bättre".

The Rasmus has posted a short message for fans on their website updating them on recent tour activities and plans for the rest of the summer. Among the items worth mentioning, is the fact that they will be shooting a video for the new single on a V8 racing track in Berlin soon. The Confusions got a nice write-up recently in the UK's Evening Telegraph reviewing their album "Trampoline". "Add these guys to the list of superb Swedish bands," they say along with their four out of five score. Not bad, eh? In other news, the band has been filming a video for the next single "Painted People" with director Johan Lehman. An airport runway, a deserted supermarket and a ghost town are among the scenery they say to expect when it's released sometime in August.

The Wannadies are playing Phoenix Park in Dublin on August 9 with the likes of Robbie Williams, Ash and Kelly Osborne. The band also reports that the new UK single "Disko" will be released on August 11 from Cooking Vinyl.

Synesthetic Records will be releasing the debut CD from Hellfire, a Norweigan sludge-rock group featuring 2/3rds of the dudes from Noxagt. No word on a date, but they it'll be a limited edition of only 500 copies.
The first couple artists have been announced for the upcoming Tinitus Festival at Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm on November 14: Lustans Lakejer, Controlled Analogue Programming (C.A.P.), and Hocico from Mexico. For more info and audio samples, go here: www.tinitus.com

Trapdoor Fucking Exit is back from tour and has put up a brand new website with a new mp3 of the song "Intruder" plus a bunch of new pictures. The forthcoming album "Be Not Content" is still awaiting release, but they say you might be able to find it on Soulseek in the meantime if you're feeling criminal. The band has also lined up an appearance on an upcoming 2xCD mp3 compilation from Go-Kart Records with some 150+ other bands. I'll post the details on that when I get 'em.

Reknown elvish darkwave artist and ex-Emperor bassist Mortiis is touring the UK in September along with Norweigan metal band Susperia. The dates:
