Sahara Hotnights just entered Pelle Gunnerfeldt's (Fireside) Studio Gröndal to start work on their third album. They plan to take four weeks to track and promise to post updates on their website.

Dark Funeral is planning on releasing a live album utilizing recordings made during their recent South American tour.
Nightwish has started to undertake efforts to begin work on their new album:
"[The] band will lock themselves at the studio where they'll spend about a month practicing and arranging the songs for the new album. They've planned of getting 13 new songs and 1 cover ready to be recorded in Finnvox and [their own] Caverock studios. There will be studio-diary released from the studio-session on [the band's homepage]."
Look a expected release on Spinefarm around June next year.
Download the new Organism 12 track "Mörn right here. It's a remake of the instrumental track "Flash Bazaz", originally by Ison & Fille, courtesy of Hemmalaget. Organism's new album "Petar På Döda Saker Med Pinnar" is just about finished and will be out sometime early next year on JuJu Records. It was produced by Flyphonic, DJ Large and Masse and features guest cameos from Chords, PSTQ and Peshi.
Also out now from JuJu is the new Chords 12" single "Chillin' (Like Matt Dillon)" featuring fellow Swedish rapper Timbuktu along with Rantoboko. The exclusive b-side is the track "Giants", featuring Honeztly. The Breakmecanix and Domingo-produced full length "The Garden Around The Mansion" comes out October 17 and the next single "Wrap Your Chops" is out soon.

Madder Mortum has added guitarist Odd Eivind Ebbesen and bassist Tormod Langøien Moseng to their lineup. Odd has been the band's longtime webmaster and has filled in for a couple live shows before, while Tormod has also filled in on occasion, but also played in other bands with the other guys Mads and BP. The band is currently working on material for a new album, tentatively due midway through next year.
Sweden's Morphine Lane Records has just signed an exclusive licensing deal with Listening-Post Music for distribution in the US and Canada. The first release from the partnership will be a special enhanced version of The Drowners' lastest CD "Muted To A Whisper" which includes videos for the songs "Lupinne" and "Best of Beginnings".
