Swedish-born/Norway-residing artist Karin Park will be making her UK live debut on August 18 at The Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch, London. Though I know her primarily as a successful pop artist (as I'm sure is the same for many others), apparently she's decided to take a left-turn with her new, far more experimental album "Tiger dreams" which was recorded with producer Christoffer Berg (The Knife, Fever Ray, Little Dragon) and will be out in September. Premium Swedish noiserockers EL-SD have officially joined forces with (Traktor) for the release of an upcoming 4-song 7" EP. No exact release date has been set yet, but they say to expect it around October and, if the rough mix samples I've heard so far are any indication, it will seriously rule all.
