Word on the street has it that Soundtrack of Our Lives plans on recording about 30 of the 60 songs they have written for consideration on the new album. They've already got about 40 left over from previous sessions I'm told, but it remains to be seen what will happen to em. B-sides for forthcoming singles? The other thing is that they plan on playing a whole bunch of the stuff at their upcoming Slussens gigs to see what works and what doesn't. Bootleggers are no doubt getting excited. The sound of the new stuff is said to be in the vein of "Behind the Music", but they expect the album will be shorter. Maybe a February release? Wait and see.
