Danish heavies Rising are now streaming two brand new tracks at myspace off their forthcoming 7", due out November 29 via : https://www.myspace.com/risingdk
In other news, the band's self-titled debut EP will be getting a much-needed 12" vinyl release on November 29 as well, via German label in an edition of 500 copies, 150 on white.
The excellent Swedish postpunk act Paper has confirmed that they will release a new 7" this fall featuring the cut "Coming from you" b/w "Meaningless". The a-side will also appear on the band's forthcoming full-length tentatively titled "Mischmasch", but the flip is exclusive.

It's a good album, well worth owning methinks. If I didn't already blow my record budget for the next 2 weeks, I'd be ordering one right now.
After a long break, Finnish label returns with two new releases for October: Fun's 3rd album "New 13" and a new album from Hero Dishonest called "Dangerous", their 5th overall. For full details and free sample downloads, go here: https://www.ifsociety.com/news.php#n157
Both are pretty much essential, if you ask me.
Swedish postrockers Scraps of Tape didn't play out much in 2010, but they've lined up four extra-special German gigs for November at their favorite venues/cities:
11/10 - Az Conni, Dresden
11/11 - Schokoladen, Berlin
11/12 - Cairo, Würzburg
11/13 - Steinbruch, Duisburg
These won't just be regular shows though -- the band has compiled a special limited edition record featuring live versions of new songs plus various b-sides from their most recent album "Grand letdown" and will be giving copies away to the first 50 attendees at each show. And they won't be available anywhere else either, as they're only pressing 200. The band will be doing some special limited-edition posters and t-shirts though, so even latecomers don't go away empty-handed. Scraps also say they'll also only be playing material from "Grand letdown" plus some new songs off the record yet to come -- the one they are currently in the process of writing.

The CD version of the album won't be available until November, but it looks like the files are all available now. And as far as vinyl goes, they are requesting feedback to weigh demand.
Weeping Willows frontman Magnus Carlson will release a new solo endeavor with backing band The Moon Ray Quintet on November 3 called "Echoes". Said album will be available on both CD and LP, with each version containing a slightly different tracklist and two exclusive cuts. Of course, buying the vinyl gets you a download link for the lot plus a video, but you already knew that because it's the modern way. Anyhow, here's the first single "Ain't there something money can't buy" which will be officially released on October 11: https://soundcloud.com/cosmosmusicgroup/magnus-carlson-the-moon-ray-quintet-aint-there-something-money-cant-buy/
Lögnhalsmottagningen will be one of three acts in the next 3x7" boxset, the other two being fellow Swedes Local Oafs and Americans Mr California. Limited to 100 copies, so email burninghellrecords@hotmail.com to reserve your copy.
They also have a 2LP on the way this winter to be released by and a 10" split with labelmates Brutus that will be out in the fall. More details when I get them.
