Screaming Records to release new Entombed 7", more

Danish label Screaming Records will be releasing a new 7" from Swedish death metal legends Entombed this coming May, ahead of the band's new full-length album due out late 2012. In other news, the label will also be doing a 7" with CPH upstart crust/hardcore act Parasight -- look for that one in late February.

Blood Harvest to release Serpent Ascending LP

Blood Harvest will be pressing a vinyl edition of Finnish occult death metal act Serpent Ascending's album "The enigma unsettled" which collects both the self-titled and "The mournful pilgrimage" recordings from 2009/10 in one place. No release date yet, but I'll keep you posted.

New Fleurety 7" on the way

There will be a new Fleurety 7" on Aesthetic Death Records entitled "Et Spiritus Meus Semper Sub Sanguinantibus Stellis Habitabit". No official release date as of yet, but look out for it to be released "in a couple of months."

Simian Ghost unveil new single, more

"Wolf girl" is Simian Ghost's brand new single, their first from the forthcoming album "Youth" which will be out on March 3 via Nomethod/Heist or Hit, both as a digital download and also on transparent vinyl. And that's not all- the band is also getting attention from abroad with the UK's Guardian calling them "an early contender for album of the year." New 7" from Förmögenhet

Swedish hardcore act Förmögenhet have a brand new 7" out now via Jonassons Grabb called "Rester med gäster" and, as the title implies, it features a variety of guest vocalists including folks from Nitad, Section 8, In Solitude and Between Us. It's also limited to a mere 100 copies so act fast if you want one.

Carve visage: the 7", the remix, the video

Rumble in Rhodos' latest single "Carve visage", the 3rd off their 2011 Spellemann-nominated release "Signs of fervent devotion", is out now on a 7" with a b-side remix by Center of the Universe and a DVD containing the video.

Wasted reissue on the way

Combat Rock Industry reports that they will be doing a number of reissues/represses in 2012 starting with Wasted's long OOP album "Down & out", originally released in cooperation with the now-defunct German label Scene Police some 10 years ago. No official release date yet, but the band will be heading out on the road for some domestic shows this season and a European tour in May.

The Mary Onettes collaborate on new EP with Dan Lissvik

Swedish indierock act The Mary Onettes have recorded a new EP with Dan Lissvik of Studio (RIP) called "Love Forever" which apparently finds them stripping away the reverb to find a more organic sound. It will be released on February 29 via Labrador Records and will be available either as a digital download or on 12" vinyl.
