Mixtapes & Cellmates are confirmed for SXSW. Also look for them to enter Studio Gröndal in February to begin work on their sophomore album.

Stella Rocket release new single next week, The Amazing the week after

Stella Rocket's new single "Keep on" will be released on January 14 via Fashionpolice Records. And speaking of Fashionpolice, look for The Amazing to finally officially release "Dragon" (remember?) as a single on January 21.

Swedish synthpop act Kamera reports their new album is being mixed later this month and should be ready for a March release.

New label: Brus & Knaster

Göran Petersson from Bonnier Amigo and photographer Johan Månsson have started a new label together called Brus & Knaster. The first release from the label is the soundtrack for the SVT program "De halvt dolda" (composed by Leif Jordansson) and it will be followed by new records from artists such as Nina Ramsby collaborating with US artist Brent Hunter, Tore Berger, House of Tomidas (ft. New Tarantula Waltz heavier than Nasum?

I imagine that they're being less than serious with that claim, but either way, I'm still looking forward to hearing it. The working title is now set as "Minus + Minus = +" and they're expecting to have it ready for release this spring.
