Peaceville signs Barren Earth

Peaceville has signed Finnish death metal/prog act Barren Earth and will be releasing their debut EP in November with a full-length to follow in 2010. The band consists of ex-members from Amorphis plus current members of bands such as Swallow the Sun and Moonsorrow. Sounds a lot like Amorphis, unsurprisingly.

As mentioned the other day, the Swedish mag Novell asked a ton of Swedish musicians, critics, DJs, industry peeps and so on about their 100 favorite songs of the 2000s and, now that the results are trickling in, has announced that they will be posting a master list of the results at this new website: https://nollnolltalet.se/
