Flora & Fauna has announced that they will be releasing the debut EP "The Beauty of Nature" from Eric Beyond (aka 'the most sensitive guy in Stockholm') on April 13 in cooperation with Idiotwind. The disc features four songs and guest appearances from Nina Persson (The Cardigans) and Ludvig Rylander (The Chyrsler, Moder Jords Massiva). A record release show will be held at Kulturhuset in Stockholm.
Speaking of The Chrysler, the label Love and Theft will release a 10" from the band with four new songs called "Holland Park". F&F will have it for mailorder soon.
MIC Norway will be holding an international conference called 'Music Information beyond politics, market and media' in Bergen, Norway on May 27-28. Main topics will include 'the politics of music', 'music in media and the market', and 'new tools, new tasks in music information'. The upcoming "Independent Sweden" compilation from Spain's Fork Series is nearing completion and the final tracklist should be available soon. Bands confirmed so far include Adria, Ane Brun, Celestine, David & the Citizens, Laakso, Det Gamla Landet, José González, Lemko Hall, Niccokick, Menteroja and Dr. Higgins.
