The Venue recently made a video for "Show Me More" from their recent EP "Popular Music that will live forever I - Intensity" and gave it a debut at Klubb Kaiser/Provok last Sunday. Their next EP "Popular Music that will live forever II - Sweet Nothings" is due out later this summer. In other news, drummer Hans Ekman has left the band. On record he'll be replaced by a Yamaha RX-17 and Anders Thorell. As for live shows, they plan on using a number of stand-ins, including their friend Christer who's done the job before. For info on upcoming live dates (including an acoustic Depeche Mode cover night with Daniel Björklund from Eliminator J:r), check in at the band's website: https://www.thevenue.tk/

The new album "Like Animals" is out now on Carcrash Records, the label of Håkan from Division of Laura Lee. I should hopefully be getting some of their releases for mailorder soon, so check back if you're interested.

Don't forget about the The End Will Be Kicks contest! I'll be giving away a few copies of their new single later this month, so email contest@itsatrap.com with a subject line of "TEWBK contest" to enter. Be sure to include your name and address in the body of the message too, just in case you win.
