Finland's latest goth-metal export Nightwish has been forced to cancel the first three dates of their debut North American tour due to visa problems. Apparently the 4.5 months they allowed for processing wasn't enough time for the US immigration office to work everything out. The dates affected:

Norwegian black-metal band Dimmu Borgir had their show at the Huntridge Theater in Las Vegas on July 30 filmed by director Patric Ullaeus (Lacuna Coil, In Flames). No official word on whether or not there's a DVD in the works, but I'll keep you updated.

Some small updates for the last few For the Record shows: first up, Firefox has been added to the bill for the Hell on Wheels/Virtues date. One more act will be added, but it's still not confirmed yet.
