P3 Musikjournalen is reporting that Maja Ivarsson and Felix Rodriguez from The Sounds are behind Nic & The Family operating under the names Nancy Blond and Joey Demo. The group's single "Hej hej Monika" was a hit in Sweden this summer and the full album "Hej hej skiva" comes out September 1.

David Sandström will be releasing "The Sixties" as his next single on September 1.

Acclaimed viking/black-metal act Enslaved has finally announced that they'll be releasing their new album "ISA" on November 8 via Tabu Recordings. It is currently being recorded at Grieghallen Studios by the team of Jørgen "Sir Duperman" Træen, Eirik "Pytten" Hundvin and the band themselves. Mixing will be handled by Sir Duperman at his own Duper Studios. Candlelight Records should be getting it out in the US sometime early next year.

Fibes, Oh Fibes! will make thir UK debut at the Notting Hill Art Club in London on October 11. Look for more Scandinavian tourdates and info concerning a new single soon.

Novoton Records has announced that they will be releasing the new single "All to you" from Black Belt on August 23. The track comes off of the band's upcoming debut album "First blood" which was recorded at Studio Grondahl with Johan Gustavsson (Randy, Sahara Hotnights, The Hives).
