Thulsa Doom has confirmed that the new single "Need the air" from their most recent album "Keyborad, oh lord! Why don't we?" will be released on April 11 via Big Dipper Records.

Opeth will be participating in the "Sounds of the underground" tour, hitting the US this summer beginning in late June. The tour is sponsored by Ferret Music, Prosthetic Records, Trustkill Records, Metal Blade Records, Music Choice, Revolver, PureVolume, and Hot Topic and will feature a wide selection of other heavy bands such as Clutch, Unearth, Poison the Well, Strapping Young Lad and tons more. Ef reports that they recently completed a new recording with Kristian Antilla engineering. Two songs, about 30 minutes worth of material. Look for them to have it for sale soon at upcoming shows. I'm presuming it'll be a CDR release?

Sweden's Wolf has parted ways with No Fashion Records. They say that ever since the label was purchased by Push Music/Network Entertainment Group, there has been very little interest shown in heavy music, so the band asked to be released from their contract. They agreed and are now on the lookout for a new deal.

Adrian Recordings reports that they now have copies of that Japanese David & the Citizens comp for sale. Crying Bob and Zip Records have announced that they will be releasing the new "Idiot box" EP from Swedish power-pop act The Virtues on March 17 in Sweden, April 1 in the US.
