Danish DIY indie label BSTBA has signed Manuskript, a band they describe as "click n' cut dreampop + intricate female Danish spoken word magick" and recommend if you like acts such as Manual, Efterklang or Mum. The group's six-song EP "Digt #1" comes packaged with a notebook-eque coil spine and should be available now.

Happy Monday! New mp3 today from David Sandström Overdrive. This song just appeared in my mailbox the other day with no explanation, so I have absolutely no backstory on it, but I presume it's from David's upcoming album with his new backing band. As you can hear for yourself, it's not any sort of departure from his last album "The dominant need of the needy...", but guess what? That record was great, so who's to complain? Check it out.

WTF? It has been reported that Carl-Michael "Aggressor" Eide of Aura Noir/Infernö/Virus/Ved Buens Ende/et al. fell (or jumped) from a five-story building in Oslo on Saturday and is currently undergoing extensive surgery. No word yet on how extensive his injuries are or what the prognosis is, but I'll be sure to follow up on this. I guess he had just finished performing with Aura Noir at the Inferno Festival? I presume alcohol was involved in some way or another, but nobody's posted the full story yet.
