Norwegian hardcore label Lilac Sky reports that their friends The Spectacle has just finished writing the follow-up album to "Rope or guillotine" and you can listen to one of the tracks here: https://www.the-spectacle.com/mp3/01%20Snut.mp3
No word on who or when it'll be released, but I'll try to keep you posted.

Also from Lilac Sky comes word that The Birds Are Spies, They Report To The Trees just finished recording a new 7" and will be taking part in a 7" series on Ape Must Not Kill Ape Records in the near future alongside bands such as Dominic, What Price Wonderland and more.

And lastly, Lilac Sky says that Kaospilot is finally recording some new material which will end up on some sort of split with The Fiction. The band also plans to tour Japan later this summer.

Imperial Recordings has confirmed a May 25 release date for the debut EP "Maybe you and me" from Martin McFaul.

In other Imperial news, the label has signed Paperplane, the new project from Eric Palmqwist of Monostar and EP's Trailerpark. His debut 7" "Grow young" b/w "Trust" will be out soon.

The latest Ralph Myerz & Jack Herren Band album "Your new best friends" will finally getting an international release on June 13 via Rykodisc/Emperor Norton. The record already received many accolades in the band's home country of Norway, winning the Alarm Award for best electronica album of the year.
