UK-based label Fat Cat Records will be releasing a 7" single from the upcoming Amandine album sometime in early September. As mentioned before, the band's full-length drops on September 26 and it's quite good. There's a track featured in the "Summer bummer" podcast and I'll probably post another within the next few weeks.

I've been told that Adrian Recordings has signed a new artist, but they aren't telling me who it is. Yet. I'll get it out of 'em, just you wait and see.

As someone with their own money-losing indie label, I can definitely commiserate with Magnus and his money woes. Shit ain't easy, I can assure you. But I can also assure you that this record, when it finally comes out, will kick your ass. The demos and rough mixes I've heard are amazing and it's still one of my most anticipated new releases for 2005.
