I didn't bother mentioning it when it was first announced, but Jens Lekman's New Year's Eve show in Chicago is sold out. But! He's added two more shows January 1-2 at the Empty Bottle.

Nordic House presents The World Music Safari Explosion

The Nordic House in Reykjavik, Iceland will play host to the first annual World Music Safari Explosion on November 13-14. The event will feature folk and world music acts representing every Nordic country including Dj Nad Jee (NOR), Katrine Suwalski (DK), Trans-Nations (DK), Dida (Greenland), Helgi og Hljódfaeraleikararnir (IS), Another World (DK), Shava (FIN), Punjabi Band (SWE) and Skrå (Åland). Scraps of Tape will be playing their final Swedish gig with member Mikael Persson on Friday, October 23 at Debaser Malmö. The show will also serve as the kickoff for their European tour with Solander which begins on Saturday.
