The Crypt begets Cult Demo Series

vinyl reissue label offshoot is launching a new sub-imprint called which will "focus exclusively on unsigned bands who only ever released demo material and have never had an official release." The first release will be a split between two Swedish acts, Embryo (featuring Mattias Borgh pre-Crypt of Kerberos) and Stigmata (featuring Peter Eklund of Dark Funeral).

Björn Kleinhenz reveals new album, tour

Björn Kleinhenz reports that his new album "Djago Bråk", which I do believe is his planned acoustic album, is just about done and will be released in May. Just in time for tour, too -- he'll be setting out to Germany once again, this time with Karin Wiberg on violin and Jonathan Larsson on accordion as accompaniment. Dates:

New single coming from Bombus

Swedish rockers Bombus have a new single coming out on April 23 featuring the track "Safe passage" b/w "Cult leader". They're also playing Svalbard on March 25 which is pretty insane/awesome.

Moloken confirm new album release

Swedish prog/crust/metal champs Moloken report that they have finished recording their new album "Rural" and will be releasing it on August 27 via with a European tour to follow in support. In other news, the band's excellent full-length debut "Our astral circle" will be getting a South American release in May via in Ecuador and in Mexico.

Susanne Sundfør signs to Grönland

Susanne Sundfør has officially signed a European deal with ,the label founded by Herbert Grönemeyer. Look for Susanne's latest album "The brothel" to be released in Germany on May 20 with Austria, Switzerland, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain and Portugal to follow on the 23rd.

Sista Sekunden update (+ more)

Swedish hardcore act Sista Sekunden will be releasing a new 7" single in May and will be celebrating will a fully stacked show on the 7th at KB in Malmö featuring Regulations, Night Fever, Bäddat För Trubbel, Hårda Tider and Tysta Mari. Not to be missed, obviously.

In related news, Andy from Sista Sekunden's other band Terrible Feelings have recorded a bunch of new stuff and have a number of new releases on the way. First is a single on German label in cooperation with vocalist Manuela's own imprint featuring "Impending doom" b/w "Death to everyone". They've also got another 7" coming via (also German) featuring "Tied up" b/w "No meaning" as well as a CD coming out in Japan through that has six new songs recorded for it so far and will possibly (probably?) feature more.
