Karin Park comes to the UK
Swedish-born/Norway-residing artist Karin Park will be making her UK live debut on August 18 at The Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch, London. Though I know her primarily as a successful pop artist (as I'm sure is the same for many others), apparently she's decided to take a left-turn with her new, far more experimental album "Tiger dreams" which was recorded with producer Christoffer Berg (The Knife, Fever Ray, Little Dragon) and will be out in September. Death Token LP gets release date
has confirmed that the new LP "All dreams are nightmares" from long-running DK HC act Death Token will be out on August 19.

Atlas to release EL-SD 7"
Premium Swedish noiserockers EL-SD have officially joined forces with (Traktor) for the release of an upcoming 4-song 7" EP. No exact release date has been set yet, but they say to expect it around October and, if the rough mix samples I've heard so far are any indication, it will seriously rule all.

Safe House Staff är den namnet på bandet
Safe House Staff is a new-ish Swedish hip-hop collective featuring rappers Nimo, Näääk, Mackan, RahBalder and Sexfemman, all well-known solo acts in their own right, backed by DJs Kojak and Lickshot and all based out of Marcus Price and Kristoffer Malmsten's Safe House Studio. They're also sounding quite promising, especially if you dig hip-hop mixed with skweee like I do. Look for their debut EP to be released on September 2 via .
