Norwegian electronic act Frost will release their new single "My plastic heart" on February 11 in digital format only. It will include a b-side remix by Plastic Operator.

Envelopes will release a new 7" single in UK on February 11 featuring the track "Party" b/w "Go the hell". As mentioned before, the new album "Here comes the wind" will be out on February 18.

Ex-Emperor frontman Ihsahn reports that his second solo album "angL" is just about done and should hopefully be ready for mastering within a few weeks. He describes the music as a natural progression from "The Adversary", but with a somewhat heavier touch." No word on a release date yet, but his own label Mnemosyne Productions will be handling it in association with Candlelight Records.

A Perfect Friend, the dronepop duo of Thomas Denver Jonsson and CJ Larsgården (Pacta, Ondo), is putting out a new outtakes EP called "Graduation day" to tide people over until the eventual release of their sophomore album "Timber and modern ways". Bassist Juho Salmi has left Finnish experimental/postrock act Plain Fade to concentrate on his own other projects. The band will continue on as a four-piece and is currently working on their third album.

Flora and Fauna has announced the signing of Swedish act Parken aka Pelle Lindroth. The Rigas + Parken-produced full-length won't be out until September, but the first single "Åt Helvete med himlen" comes out in mid-February.
