Division of Laura Lee will be releasing a new 7" in coordination with their upcoming hometown gig in GBG on February 25. The a-side will feature "Cabin jam" and the flip will have the exclusive b-side "Hoover".

Lasse Marhaug has collaborated with legendary Japanese noise guru Merzbow in many ways over the years, but only in 2010 did they finally make a proper studio recording together in Tokyo. The resulting work is called "Mer mar" and will be released on LP via in March.
Norrland indierockers Park Hotell have been picked up by NY-based label (Movits!) who will be compiling a best-of album called "Layers" for US release. They'll also be coming over in March for SXSW and will be doing some other shows, exact dates TBA.
The new First Love, Last Rites single "Walk you home" is confirmed for release on March 5.
"300 Acting Spaces" is the name of a new experimental music/multimedia project based out of Oslo and spearheaded by artist/professor Alex Gunia. In addition to providing an intimate performance venue for many of Norway's leading artists in the genre including Lasse Marhaug, Maja Ratkje, Supersilent and more, the venture also aims to link up with similar venues worldwide, both conceptually and online.
