Swedish indie troubadour Moto Boy will be releasing a new EP on December 3 via Songs I Wish I Had Written.

The Hives recorded a Christmas duet with American artist Cyndi Lauper. No more details have been revealed yet beyond that, but I'll keep you posted.

Wonderland Records has pushed back the release of Convoj's long-awaited debut full-length "Exceptionnel" to December 10. Lead single "My shovel" is out on November 16 as a three-track CDS.

Skweee stars Randy Barracuda and Mesak are putting out a split 12" via Harmönia Records in November. Randy Barracuda (aka Imatran Voima) contributes "Black vaseline" and a Eero Johannes Kotkan Ruusu mix of the same while Mesak gets a little help from Michael Black Electro on the flip for "Adult games" plus a dub version of the same. Stand By Your Band, Sahara Hotnight's self-run label, has signed Umeå duo Two White Horses and will be releasing their debut album in March 2009. Lisa Miskovsky's single "Still alive" that she recorded for the video game "Mirrors edge" will be officially released as a single in mid-November along with a video.

Morten Qvenild from Norwegian jazz trio In the Country will be going to Atlantis Studios in Stockholm in January to record his DnBNOR/Kongsberg Jazz Festival award-winning composition. Expect a release sometime later on in the year via Rune Grammofon.
