Knud Odde from long-running Danish postpunk act Sort Sol has recorded a new Christmas single with Henrik Hall entitled "Perler I Sne". Check it out at their label's myspace page: https://www.myspace.com/prickupyourearsrecords
Said song is actually a new version of the Sort Sol track "Rhinestone" from 2001 with new lyrics.

Swedish punkrockers The Accidents will release a new 3-song 7" on Italian label Nicotine Records on December 10 featuring the tracks "High powered rifle", "The man that never slept" and "I.O.M.G.I.A". Also keep an eye out for a new 10" from the band via Bootleg Booze, but probably not until 2009.

Due to a printing error, the release of Norwegian act Lama's debut album "Guide to Lamaland" has been delayed to January 12.

Danish act The Late Parade report that their new album "In chase of red beads" is finally finished. No word yet on a release date, but I'll keep you posted.

Swedish melodic hard rock act Violent Divine will release their new album "In harm's way" on January 31, 2009 via Misty Recordings. The record was produced by Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) and the first single "Blackheart" is out on January 8.

Scandinavian experimental artists Laura Naukkarinen (Lau Nau) and Kristian Holmgren and Matti Bye of the band Vinter are collaborating in a new project called Maailma.
