The band will be bringing along fellow Umeå resident Inge Johansson from The (International) Noise Conspiracy to rep for label/club night Ny Våg and to DJ. They'll also be carrying copies of their new (English-language) zine "Umeå Punk City 2008", which I should hope is self-explanatory enough -- I'm looking forward to getting a copy of said zine myself.
Sonic Ritual and Sanctuary in Blasphemy just finished up a quick Scandinavian tour together, but it looks like their collaboration will continue: expect a split LP from the bands on High Roller Records in the near future. And if you're looking for a copy of Sonic Ritual's debut 7", I should be getting copies really soon.

Swedish pysch legends Träd Gräs och Stenar will be celebrating their 40th (!!!) anniversary with a new album on Subliminal Sounds entitled "Hemlösa katter". Finnish pop act Tigerbombs are back in the studio working on their next record.

Jannick had a history of mental health issues.
The Tarantula Waltz has signed with Brus & Knaster, the new label run by Johan Månsson and Göran Petersson which is home to House of Tomidas, Nina Ramsby and Folke. Look for the new John Roger Olsson-produced album "Did not leave to find but to forget, to leave behind" to be released this fall.

Henrik Rylander (The Skull Defekts, ex-Union Carbide Productions) will be releasing his music for Lotta Lotass' play "Speleologerna" as an album in conjunction with the book's release on his newly-founded label Found Sound Foundation. The name of the collection will be "Play". "Speleologerna" debuts on stage at Regionteater Väst in Uddevalla, Sweden on April 8 under the direction of Olof Lindqvist.
UK-based label Coppertree Records has signed Swedish artist Melpo Mene and will be releasing his album "Bring the lions out" on 180g vinyl.
Kning Disk has released a special limited box-set soundtrack to the film "Hälsningar från skogen" ("Greetings from the Woods") featuring exclusive tracks from many fine Swedish artists such as José González, Hans Appelqvist, Jean-Louis Huhta and Tape. Norwegian pop artist Karin Park will release her new album "Ashes to gold" on April 27 via the Datarock-run label YAP Records. Fredrik Saroea of Datarock also produced said record.
