Moptaco Dics, the DIY label run by Daniel "Fagge" Fagerström of The Skull Defekts/The Je Ne Sais Quoi, has two new cassette releases out now -- first is Vic Sinex' "Live at Ny Tid Ny Strid" which is somewhat self-explanatory, but also contains rehearsal tape content. Second is Mattias Gustafsson's (Altar of Flies) debut under his own name "Död metall", a release described as a smooth handgesture to John Carpenter soundtracks, pre-sequencer Tangerine Dream and the dirt of Rune Lindblad." Also on the way from Memento Materia is a series of four new EPs from EBM act Backlash, the first being a tribute to Ultravox entitled "Quiet men". Said EP will contain their cover of the title track as well as an extended remix version, a cover of the additional Ultravox track "Slow motion", plus the exclusive b-side "Lipstick". Look for it on May 25.

Mange Schmidt is currently working on a new album to be entitled "Odenplan, Stockholm, 1988". Expect an August release via Razzia Records with the first single "Vet att du förstår" coming in May. Also look for new music from Theodor Jensen via Razzia including a new single this summer and an album in the fall.
Finnish electronic/multimedia artists Pink Twins are working on DVD entitled "Sketches of pain" which will include, in addition to the title work which "documents the Pink Twins/Zugeer L 2006 Mongolian concert spectacle", all of the group's recent video projects plus live footage. No set release date yet, but soon.
