don't seem to make much of a fuss over their new releases, so there's a good chance you were probably unaware that Björn Olsson has a new solo album out now called "Lite nya melodier", but he does and now you can listen to it m/album/3C8mzdrI4bKoRPRdzbqwx6" target="_blank">via Spotify. It starts out slow with a few solo piano pieces ala Jan Johansson before building into the more typical Ennio morricone-style soundtracks he's known for. And yes Jim, there's plenty of whistling.
mystery solved! most recent signing Local Drums is the new solo alias of Christofer Byström fromThey Live By Night and "In your arms" is his debut single. Sounds great, too!

Another one I pulled from the stacks recently, shame that Repoman couldn't hold it together for more than an EP. Nowadays there's a whole slew of folks doing noisy nihilistic hardcore again, but that wasn't the case 5 years ago when this EP was released, nor are a lot of the modern-day purveyors as good. Strange how many of the current crop of mysterious Guy HC clones are more concerned with being weird or provocative when they really should be concentrating on writing actual songs. Anyhow, enough misfitopia.com/uploads/1250621854/gallery_1_1_11337.jpg" target="_blank">old-man-clouding, just enjoy the track.

I Used To Be A Sparrow's debut album"Luke", now streaming in full at Bandcamp. If you've enjoyed any of Dick Pettersson's other bands such as In These Woods or Voices Break the Silence, you'll dig this slightly mellower act of his too.
