The Göteborg-based recording studio Svenska Grammofon is playing host to the art exhibit "Svart Ljus" this weekend, a collection of drawings, photos and other multimedia from the highly vaulted local scene centered around the labels and between the years 1983-1993. Usually anything with the "space disco" tag is an instant turn-off for me, but Lumeet comes off more like 80s action movie montage soundtrack than the usual Balearia-inspired, cognoscenti-approved stuff I typically associate with the style.
