Swedish hardcore act Sista Sekunden will be releasing a new 7" single in may and will be celebrating will a fully stacked show on the 7th at KB in malmö featuring Regulations, Night Fever, Bäddat För Trubbel, Hårda Tider and Tysta mari. Not to be missed, obviously.
In related news, Andy fromSista Sekunden's other band Terrible Feelings have recorded a bunch of new stuff and have a number of new releases on the way. First is a single on German label in cooperation with vocalist manuela's own imprint featuring "Impending doom" b/w "Death to everyone". They've also got another 7" coming via (also German) featuring "Tied up" b/w "No meaning" as well as a CD coming out in Japan through that has six new songs recorded for it so far and will possibly (probably?) feature more.
Someone messed up when they uploaded this file because the sound quality is totally jacked, but who knows? maybe they'll fix it by the time you hit play. Regardless, new Hebosagil is always good and I'm stoked to see that Finland's finest will be releasing the new album"Ura" on April 13.

To say that Norwegian Stian Westerhus is a respected experimental artist is quite the understatement. To add that his output may well be overrated by many is also a fair point. "Pitch black star spangled" has been lauded by certain members of the press and, while it is a decent album within the realm of experimental guitar-based drone, it's a difficult one to listen to other than in a passive sense, whereby the music serves as the background to something more important (for me that was rearranging part of my office and, on another occasion, reading an old copy of Cinefantastique frommay '86). Yes, he has quite obviously thought in great detail about what goes where, how different passages should be arranged, and how to keep the album as varied as possible, but there's something about it that just cries boredom. For the apparent randomness of the compositions within "Pitch black star spangled" it is, however, clear that everything has been carefully thought out and crafted. Therein, of course, lays the visionary in Westerhus. Sadly, it doesn't quite hit the mark this time. - John Norby
Sahara Hotnights will be releasing a new single called "Oh's" at the end of the month with a new self-titled album to follow in late may, their sixth album overall.

New music from Denmark's The Psyke Project, showing off a track from the forthcoming record "Ebola" with a significantly more streamlined sound. I'm not so sure about the goofy texts they're flashing on the screen, but these dudes are most def at the top of the genre.
