Denmark's Lake Placid has announced the addition of ex-moon Gringo drummer Lasse Herbst, replacing outgoing member Jacob Lundgård. Jacob is leaving to concentrate on his day job and to spend more time with his baby daughter.

Finnish doom metalers Swallow the Sun report that they have completed work on their new album. The first single "Forgive Her..." comes out April 13 and a video for the track "Descending winters" is due out soon as well.
