Peter of Peter, Björn and John will record a solo album later this year with the help of friend and fellow Swedish singer/songwriter Tobias Fröberg. After PB&J puts the finishing touches on their almost-complete third album, of course.

The band's debut album "Haunts" comes out February 1 and it must be noted that Punos Sound is the label run by the folks behind the amazing Finnish post-rock act Plain Fade. I've been raving about them for awhile, so I fully expect that this record is something not to be missed.

On September 25 Satellite Records will be releasing a tribute comp for Swedish singer/songwriter Ola magnell entitled "Påtalåtar - Hyllning till Ola magnell". Check out the tracklist:

Swedish post-punks/Tiger Lou backing band Torpedo have enlisted new member Love martinsen on keyboards, slideguitars and whatever other instruments need playing. The band is currentlu writing and rehearsing new material.

Chips K (Sator) makes a guest appearance on the new album "Piangi Con me" from old-school California punks White Flag, billed as El Swe. It comes out February 28.

Swedish hard-rockers mustasch have started work on their fourth album at Studio Bohus with producer Tobias Lindell.

Phaser has announced that Assid's debut single "Habibi" will finally be released in February. We'll see if the recent hype of other Swedish indie Europop acts pays off for these guys as well. It's also interesting to note that Firefox AK performs her own version of the song on her upcoming full-length, due out march 1 via Razzia Records.
