Promoe's new, still untitled album isn't due out until September, but the new single "Songs of joy" will be out in may. The track is produced by longtime associate Embee and features Jamaican artist Capleton. Promoe went to Jamaica with filmmaker Simon Klose (he also worked on the new Timbuktu DVD) to record and film three guestspots for both the new album and an upcoming DVD.

The new edition will their cover of motörhead's "Killed by death" as well as the videos for "Losing the game", "Rock'n'roll bachelor" and "Play me hard".
