Vendlus has announced the signing of Finland's Havoc Unit, the new band rising from the ashes of ...And Oceans. The band will be releasing a super limited picture 7" on Static Supernova containing the last-ever And Oceans track paired with the very first Havoc Unit song. After that, around September/October, Vendlus will release a 3-way split CD featuring And Oceans, Havoc Unit and The Sin:Decay, another related act. US label Gigantic music will release a double a-side 7" single from The Low Frequency in Stereo featuring the tracks "Jimmy legs" and "21". Look for it in early October.

Finnish act Underwater Sleeping Society will be releasing a new EP entitled "Silence teaches you how to sing" on August 30 via Siamese Sounds. The title track is actually a preview of what's to come from the band's forthcoming full-length (due out early 2007), but the other three songs contain therein are exclusive to this release.
