The return of Hederos & Hellberg

Hederos & Hellberg, the piano/vocals duo of martin Hederos (The Soundtrack of Our Lives/Tonbruket) and mattias Hellberg, will be getting back together for a tour this coming February in addition to releasing their 2003 farewell concert as a proper album. I can't remember if it was originally broadcast on P3 Live or what, but I do know that I have a quality bootleg of the show in my mp3 library and, yes, it is quite good.

MP3: Brighter Death Now - Collector of remains

m/n/38712-recommended-elephant-castle">On the other hand, if chain-rattling industrial-noise really is your thing you can't really go wrong with Brighter Death Now for unsettling, but eminently listenable, aural chaos. I'm still waiting for my copy of the new 4xLP boxset "Very little fun" to show up, but luckily there are mp3s floating around to satiate me in the meantime.

Brighter Death Now - Collector of remains

Recommended: Elephant & Castle

Looking for a little Halloween music and don't want the usual goth/industrial recommendations I hand out? I highly recommend matti Bye and mattias Olsson's collaboration album "Elephant & Castle" -- it's the perfect soundtrack of creepy calliope tunes ala "Something wicked this way comes", great any time of year but especially perfect for this particular weekend. And if someone from is watching, I'd sure love a copy of that m/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=101" target="_blank">limited edition box set w/the Edison cylinder, but somehow I imagine I'll have to settle for one of the less-fancy copies.
