Helsinki-based digital music distribution website Foryourears.com has announced that they will launch on june 14. Labels so far signed up for the service include Ural 13 Records (FIN), Kohvi Records (EST), Army of Sound (FRA), Metrotraks Records (FIN), Symptom Records (FIN) and more should be getting on board soon.

Finally! A bunch of stuff from Startracks just came in to the mailorder department: Kristofer Åström, Christian Kjellvander and Tiger Lou. Didn't I say 2004 is the year of the singer/songwriter? Yep, sure did.

As a special treat I've added two new mp3s to the playlist on the right. First up, there's a live track from Christian Kjellvander. As you can see, he just began his short run of West Coast dates last night opening for The Cardigans. I'm definitely looking forward to the SF show on Monday. And for the people that were asking - he's playing third out of four acts and should be on around 10-10:30pm.

Next, is a track from Sivert Høyem and his debut solo album "Ladies And Gentlemen Of The Opposition". You may recognize his voice from his main act Madrugada, but his other stuff is pretty great as well. Check it out.

Niccokick's new EP "Run! Run! Run!" has been confirmed for a june 9 release.

Whoah! Komeda will be featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" on May 25. Hopefully they'll mention their work with KVLR besides just promoting their own record, but that's probably just wishful thinking on my part. More on ATC: https://www.npr.org/programs/atc/
