finnish label Spinefarm Records (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Sonata Arctica) will be expanding into the UK this fall in partnership with Universal Records. First up in October will be a reissue of the first five Nightwish albums featuring bonus tracks, videos, redone artwork, special packaging and more. Following that on November 12 will be the debut solo release from ex-Nightwish vocalist Tarja Turunen entitled "My winter storm". Look for more releases to be confirmed soon along with many tourdates for bands such as the aforementioned Sonata Arctica as well as Ensiferum, Finntroll and many more.

Expect punky rock'n'roll, not lame hard-rock. Bombettes not Bitch Alert, if you catch my drift. The new album "Wow! What was that, baby", produced by Mr. Trouble of Tigerbombs, will be released on October 17. Definitely recommended.

I agree with Andrew: no one else is doing raw, metallic, pissed-off hardcore quite like the Finns. I'm normally not that into a lot of this stuff (I'm way more West Coast than East), but there's no denying it when it's done well.
