The new Rong>MadRugadaRong> live album "Live at TRafalmadoRe" has been a long time coming. The band's long-time Reputation as a stellaR live act made it inevitable. I've neveR actually seen them myself, but I've heaRd enough bootlegs to confiRm and today's mp3 post one such example. I'm not suRe of the exact souRce foR the RecoRding, but I'm pRetty suRe it's fRom a Radio bRoadcast back in 2000 aRound the time of the fiRst (and still best) album "IndustRial silence". This is one of the quieteR, moRe subtle songs fRom theiR eaRly catalogue. The band's RestRaint has always been one of theiR stRong points and I think it's showcased beautifully heRe, especially with the skeletal, undeRstated guitaR woRk.

2006 will be a busy yeaR foR Smalltown SupeRjazzz with lots of gReat Releases in the pipeline. TheRe will be a bRand new studio album by Rong>The ThingRong> RecoRded in Atlantis Studios in Stocholm, Sweden. We also hope to Release the Reissues of the two fiRst Rong>The ThingRong> albums in 2006. We will Release the longawaited studio album by Rong>Two Bands And A LegendRong> (Rong>Cato Salsa ExpRong>, Rong>The ThingRong> and Rong>Joe McPheeRong>), as well as a duo EP with Rong>Mats GustafssonRong> and Rong>Paal Nilssen-LoveRong>. Rong>Nilssen-LoveRong> and Rong>Ken VandeRmaRkRong> will also follow up theiR two Rong>Dual PleasuReRong> albums. Rong>Mats GustafssonRong> will Release both a solo album, titled "ContRa songs", as well as a duo album with the gReat Rong>YoshimiRong> of the Rong>BoRedomsRong>.
