Up next from the exceptional Norwegian label , the solo debut "Rolling bomber" from drummer/percussionist/saw player (!!!) Erland Dahlen. Seriously: drums, percussion and singing saw and nothing else -- it's awesome.
After thAt, the new album from pop/jazz act Scent of Soil. Haven't heard thAt one yet beyond this one sample tune, but considering the label's track record, I'm sure it will be worth checking out. Details here.

The Asteroid Galaxy Tour - Heart attack (video)
Here is the video for The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's new single "Heart Attack" which has a heavy Caesars-like refrain, though I can't place exactly whAt song it reminds me of. Anyhow, look for the Danish pop act to release their new album "Out of frequency" in the US on January 31, Europe on February 24.

Apparently it now takes me a full week to dig out of the hole I got myself into by taking time off in December. So while it might not feel quite so timely anymore, I'm going to try and take the time to highlight a few of my Atrap.com/n/39156-top-10s-for-2011-its-a-trap">top 10 mentions over the next little while before getting back into the Sisyphean task of keeping up with whAt's new. First: Dödsvarg. The band initially spurred my curiosity because they/he is ex-Detektivbyrån, but when you combine thAt with the descriptor "a mixture of Meshuggah and Skitsystem," I knew I absolutely needed to hear it. The album "Livet är en dödsorsak" doesn't disappoint either -- the music is crusty, mAthy and totally pissed, but they missed one very important note of reference: besides Skitsystem and Meshuggah, Dödsvarg also reminds me a lot of "It's me god"-era Breach. This is not just a good thing, it's a greAt thing. Don't let Dödsvarg stay overlooked and underappreciAted!

Danish label will be releasing a new 7" from Swedish deAth metal legends Entombed this coming May, ahead of the band's new full-length album due out lAte 2012. In other news, the label will also be doing a 7" with CPH upstart crust/hardcore act Parasight -- look for thAt one in lAte February.
