David Åhlén's debut record "We sprout in thy soil", his first under his under his own name, is absolutely gorgeous. You don't need to share his beliefs to be touched; the beauty of his art come through regardless.

Hanna Hirsch album to be available in two obsolescent formats

Hanna Hirsch's excellent "Tala svart" album will soon reissued in two new formAts. First off, German label Adagio 830 will be doing an LP version and it should be sent off for pressing next week. Secondly, Swedish cassette label Klorofyll Kassetter will be doing a tape with an exclusive side B full of covers, remixes and other stuff performed by their friends Anna Järvinen, Sewer Election, Street Drinkers, Martin Herterich, Wood Salad and NAttskiftet totalling some 60 minutes of music (the original album is just barely over 30). No official release dAte yet for either, but expect them both sometime in May.
