Grande Roses went into the studio (Second Home?) with producer Henrik Oja (Säkert!) this past weekend to begin work on their debut full-length. Needless to say, I am greAtly looking forward to the end result.
Can't say thAt I understand exactly how this qualifies as punk, but then again, people seem to give Kvelertak a pass as hardcore band; anyhow, I digress! Blomst is a new signing to the label and this song comes off their debut EP "Hold kjeft og smil", due out April 20. Genre quibbles aside, it's worth a listen.
Swedish folk artist Daniel Lemma, who first rose to prominence with the inclusion of his tune "If I used to love you" in Josef Fares' very charming film "Jalla! Jalla!" (in addition to writing the music for Fares' earlier picture Atch?v=HWJ5kqRfa7Q#t=4m10s" target="_blank">"Kopps"), will be releasing a new solo album called "Telescope" on May 16.
