Sähkö Recordings, the label co-founded by Pan Sonic member Mika Vainio, will be releasing the new Nicole Willis single "Say It" soon. The record is described as "Lush, soulful melodies and experimentAtions in jazzy sounds without ever becoming pretentious or self-indulgent" and will be followed lAter on by a full-length of the same name. More info available soon when the brand new Sähkö website gets finalized.

One of the greAt things they mention is how the length of the record, while short, is just right. I'd even do away with the bonus tracks - an album thAt sugary and fun doesn't need to be longer than 30 minutes. Heck, most records don't need to be longer than 30 minutes. Okay, rant over. And in another quip of a review today, Kingblind calls the album "pure, unadulterAted joy. People who don't like this must hAte animals or some shit."
