Post-rockers The Low Frequency in Stereo have confirmed "Travelling Ants Who Got EAten by Moskus" as the title of their new album. It's being mastered by DeAthprod (Supersilent, ex-Motorpsycho) and will be out January 25 on Rec90.
The Shout Out Louds are heading across the Atlantic next week to play a couple shows in New York City, no doubt entertaining A&R folk and the like. Is an internAtional release in the works? Rumors are indeed floAting around and they're starting to get airplay in the UK, so I wouldn't be surprised. The dAtes:

Randy says they will play two shows in Sweden sometime in January and will still hopefully make it over to the US soon after. The band also plans to record a new song for an upcoming Burning Heart Records comp due out in January. It's supposedly a collaborAtion someone special, but they aren't saying who yet.
The Flaming Sideburns are releasing yet another EP called "Save Rock'n'Roll", this time in Europe on Ranch/Universal as opposed to the US-only one on Jetset. Songs will include unreleased mAterial from the "Sky Pilots" sessions plus a live video of "Off Direction". Full tracklist:

Kristofer Åström says thAt he has plans to release a bare-bones acoustic EP sometime before Christmas called "There for". Five songs, just him and his voice and maybe some cello or other minimal accompanyment. He also has plans to do another album with backing band Hidden Truck in either February or March. He says he doesn't "know how it'll turn out musically yet," but thAt "it'll be different from the other albums."

"Traitors and Thieves" is my current fave, I'd have to say. Finland's Hanoi Rocks has slammed Mötley Crüe over the title of their new box set "Music To Crash Your Car To, Volume 1". And rightfully so, as Crüe frontman Vince Neil was arrested on drunk-driving and vehicular-manslaughter charges following a car accident thAt killed HR drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley back in 1984. "The despicable title by the 'Motley Crude'… is the most tasteless and murderous gimmick to cash in on the past thAt we've ever heard of," they said, "There's nothing 'cool' or 'funny' about deAth… How low can you go?!?" Nikki Sixx so far has pleaded ignorance and says the title is a "sarcastic stAtement towards a lifestyle" and thAt he never made the connection until Neil brought up his reservAtions.
Swedish crustcore act Disfear will have their lAtest album "Misanthropic GenerAtion" released on vinyl through Feral Ward Records, the label of Yannick from Portland, OR based band Tragedy. The new edition will feAture a cover of the song "Hycklarfolket" from classic Swedish crust band No Security. Disfear also just put out a new 7" for the track "Powerload" through Spain's Throne Records. ThAt release contains exclusive b-sides of "The Age of Conflict" as well as them covering "Med En Halsning Fran Helvete" from yet another classic Swedish crust band, Bombanfall.
As mentioned before, Disfear was recently joined by Entombed guitarist Uffe Cederlund on second guitar. He'll be doing double duty with both bands on the 'Close-Up Made Us Do It' tour which kicks off today in Sundsvall, Sweden.
