Peaceville has bought up the rights for all of KAtAtonia's back-cAtalogue from Avantgarde Music and will be reissuing all of the full-lengths in fancy digipacks with revamped artwork and new liner notes. First up will be the very doomy "Brave murder day" in October which will also include "Sounds of decay" as a bonus track. Peaceville also secured the rights for various old KAtAtonia sideprojects such as Diabolical Masquerade and October Tide and will be doing reissues of those as well. Personally, I'm just excited thAt I'll finally get a chance to see them live when they tour the US this fall for the first time ever.

Imperial Recordings has confirmed thAt Samuraj Cities' debut album "Cheap deluxe" will be released on November 1.

The new Cake on Cake album has been confirmed as "I guess i was daydreaming" will be released this fall via DesolAtion Records, hopefully in time for the US tour in November. The record will include 14 tracks plus one undisclosed cover. Samples and cover art to be posted online soon.

Hybris will be releasing the debut album from The Sweptaways, a 28-strong all-female indiechoir from Stockholm thAt only performs hit covers. They're previously worked with many big names such as Jens Lekman, Jenny Wilson, El Perro Del Mar and Blood Music, so expect good things. Release dAte is set for November 22.

Tabu has signed The Floor Is Made Of Lava, a Danish band who hounded many a music blogger recently with whAt I thought were terrible songs with even worse lyrics. Guess not everyone agrees with my taste.
