Isolation Years are working on a new EP called "Frosted Minds" that will include the title track plus a few unreleased selections recording during the "It's Golden" sessions. They're also recording a new track for the release, too. Look for it around late September or early October.

I don't know how I missed it until now, but legendary Swedish psyche/prog band Träd Gräs och Stenar is heading over the US for the first time in October. The band recently released the album "Ajn Schvajn Draj", their first in 33 (!!!) years. The dates:

Nicolai Dunger will be releasing a new "Tour Edition" EP on that upcoming tour with Christian Kjellvander that will feature a few tracks from his upcoming album that he recorded with Mercury Rev.

Singer Suzanna Wallumrød (sister of ECM pianist Christian Wallumrød) and pianist Morten Qvenild (shining, ex-Jaga Jazzist) just finished up with the recording of their debut album together. It was produced by Andreas Mjøs of Jaga Jazzist, mixed by Helge Sten aka Deathprod (Supersilent, ex-Motorpsycho) and will see a release on Rune Gramofon in January.

Nasum will be playing the Morbide Festspiele vol 6,66 in Bischofswerda, Germany on September 6 along with fellow Swedes Birdflesh and a slew of other grind bands.
