Labrador Records has announced that they will be releasing a new Acid House Kings EP entitled "Everyone sings along with Acid House Kings" on which Magnus Carlson, Les Très Bien Ensemble, Lasse Lindh, Montt Mardié and Don Lennon all contribute their own unique karaoke versions of their favourite AHK songs. Sounds fun. Look for it on February 8. In other AHK news, their US label Twentyseven Records will release a US version of the OOP "Do what you wanna do" EP which includes three non-album tracks plus a special US-only bonus track of AHK covering "Keep your love" by Loveninjas. That too comes out in February.

New mp3 today from Swedish synth act I Love You Baby! Their latest album "Mondegreen" was recently added to the IAT webstore and should appeal to fans of The Knife or any other glitchy, messed-up electro. Along with Trewetha Records labelmates The State of Floral Beings, ILYB! are making some of the most interesting, punk-influenced synth-rock that I've heard recently. There's plenty of pop hooks, but it's still got an edge. Recommended, of course.
Today's top ten comes from Mr. Erik Welén of Tiger Lou and Torpedo. Don't believe his lies about me forcing him to get drunk at Umeå Open, but he is right about The Ark putting on an amazing show. Check it: [click here]
