IT'S A TRAP! is always seeking out new writers for our team. Please send an email with a sample review (or other writing examples) and a list of current musical favorites. We are particularly interested in people with specific genre expertise in hardcore/metal/punk, experimental, electronic, hip-hop or anything else that falls outside the typical "indie/rock" canon, but any and all willing contributors are encouraged to apply. Considering our status as a small non-profit organization, we encourage (and prefer) the contributions of volunteer labor, but we do try to provide at least some compensation as best we can. All contributors are expected to be proactive and self-motivating.

Also, we are actively seeking writers interested in writing a regularly recurring feature-length column. If you have a concept that you would like to develop and pitch our way, please let us know!
